The Maximalist faction in Petrograd, whose first acts of violence were recorded in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph, have followed up their initial successes by effecting a coup d’etat which appears to have placed in their hands, for the time being, at least, the Central Government of Russia. This faction, with the notorious pro-German agent Lenin at their head, have declared the Kerenski Ministry deposed from power, and have, it is said, arrested several members of the Provisional Governement.
