Laguna Beach Bikini is about providing useful articles and information about fashion, modeling and acting plus a few other related topics. But we are also all about pictures and want to make the photography a primary reason to visit our site.
You may have noticed that recent articles all have a thumbnail picture ahead of the text. If you click on the thumbnail it will take you to that photo’s page on the flickr website where you can see larger images and also find out more about the picture and who created it. You can even leave comments. Think of these thumbnails as a sort of flickr photo gallery on Laguna Beach Bikini. For each article, our photo editor will search through the millions of photos on flickr and find an appropriate image that matches the article’s subject.
If you don’t know what flickr is, it is a photo sharing site. It is a free place place where anybody can store their photos online and allow the world to see them. Flickr is a community and there are millions of users and something like 300 million photos online and growing. You can think of it as a massive repository of photographs that is open to the public. What’s more anybody can display flickr photos on their website under the Creative Commons license as long as there is a link back to flickr.com. How cool is that? If you have a camera and are not already a flickr member, you should definitely join.
