Summer 2008 Model Search Tour moves to Warsaw, Poland

After a rest in Praha we are back on the road again. This time it is Warsaw. Or Warszawa as the Poles spell it. We took a train from Praha and arrived late in the day. Warsaw is a big, capital city with good public transportation–metro, trams and buses

There is lots to do here including many fine places to eat traditional Polish food. I can recommend a restaurant called Chlopsija Jidla. The first thing you get when you sit down is some bread with a bowl of lard. Yep, it is pure fat. The funny thing is the girls on Warsaw are all thin and have great figures. Maybe eating pure fat makes you thin?

The place I was staying was right next to a school and all the schoolkids were a hoot. I played my guitar in the courtyard all the kinds were running around and playing. All the schoolgirls were shy but interested in my guitar playing. One of the greatest joys in life is to see happy children playing. All the Polish children looked very happy!

Another interesting thing I saw in Warsaw was these little printed flyers placed on all the car windshields. They flyers had a Playboy or Hustler-style picture of a nude girl on it and an address. I collected about a dozen of them.
