Clark Little: Inside the Wave

Tube Wave

Photographer Clark Little is an expert surfer from Hawaii who has turned his attention from riding the waves to photographing the waves. He has produced some amazing images from a perspective rarely seen and usually only available to big wave surfers–the view from inside the wave. Most of Clark’s photos were shot in Waimea Bay in Hawaii.

The work can be dangerous because the power of ocean waves is enormous. Clark first started surfing Waimea Bay in the early 1990s. He spent years perfecting his photography and he is now one of the world’s foremost surf photographers. His camera gear includes all kinds of waterproof housings for his Nikon gear.

Watch the slide show of Clark Little’s Wave Pictures at the Guardian. Awesome stuff!
