Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars

Converse All-Stars

The ultimate retro basketball shoe: Converse All-Stars. Also known as Chuck Taylor All Stars, these sneakers have been around for about 90 years. Made from canvas and rubber–no modern materials here. Every kid that wanted to be cool had to have a pair of “Cons.” Back in the day these were the most common shoe you would see on the feet of NBA players like Bob Cousy, Jerry West or Wilt Chamberlain–before Nike started the trend of paying athletes millions of dollars to wear their shoes. They are still the coolest looking sneaker ever made. Now they are a popular fashion accessory  for that edgy grunge look, Fashionista Yaro Spring models this pair with the bold message: This is not a shoe. It is a mania.
