Introducing Talent for Money

Everyone that wants to have a talent career, whether a movie actor, fashion model or professional dancer, must deal with the subject of money. To many people this subject is unpleasant. Few people enjoy things like budgeting and nobody makes as much money as they would like.

Like it or not the subject of money is unavoidable. Everyone has bills to pay each month. We may live free in the USA, but unless you live under a bridge, living is anything but free. So dealing with money will be the focus of this new department: Talent for Money.

For many with a talent career, dealing with money means means keeping a day job to pay the bills, while you pursue your talent career. Some people have to work two jobs to make ends meet. One good bit of advice is to stay out of debt.

Others performers have been wildly successful and are seeing big paydays. They need to know about how to keep some of what they have in case the big paychecks stop coming, which inevitably happens. For them, this means saving and investing.

In Talent for Money, we will talk how much it costs to live in LA, how much you need to earn, staying out of debt, how to save and investing. Look for these and other subjects in future articles.
