In a previous post I wrote about What Do Movie Producers Do? Here is a hilarious movie that shows what a movie producer’s week is really like.
The movie is titled What Just Happened and stars Robert De Niro as a top Hollywood producer trying to save two of his movies: one from a self-centered director (Michael Wincott) who is obsessed with “artistic integrity” and another from a self-absorbed movie star (Bruce Willis).
Also in the cast is Sean Penn, Stanley Tucci, Katherine Keener, Robin Wright Penn and Moon Bloodgood. In the still from the movie shown above, Stanford graduate Moon Bloodgood slips Robert De Niro her card after following him into the men’s room. That is one way it gets done in Hollywood.
This movie is a must-see for anyone headed to Hollywood with plans for a career in the movie industry.
