Ebony & Ivory
Viktoriya is all ebony & ivory in this black and white summer dress. She has on gorgeous black patent leather high-heel shoes that are to die for. She was visiting a botanical garden in Kiev where the picture was snapped. Hence the bucolic setting. That is a beautiful willow tree behind her, which is considered a holy tree with medicinal properties by Ukrainian Orthodox Christians.

Today’s youtube is Ebony & Ivory by Paul McCartney performed with Stevie Wonder. It was a number 1 hit single for Paul McCartney in 1982. The black and white keys on a piano were traditionally made from the black wood Ebony and white ivory from elephant tusks. The keys serve as a metaphor for racial harmony. Animal activists would probably object to the indirect reference to slaughter of elephants for the ivory.
