Gregory Crewdson’s One Million Dollar Snaps

Talk about high production values! Photographer Gregory Crewdson shoots photographs that can cost $1 million dollars to produce. And this is not to cover some huge fee for a celebrity model. It all goes into the picture.

He has a large crew to stage and light scenes like a movie set and shoots with a Sinar 8×10 view camera. His role is more like that of a movie director than a photographer. He even has a Director of Photographer that reports directly to him.
