How to Dress & What To Bring
Dress like you would for a job interview. Most models dress stylish casual. In the winter they wear jeans and boots. In the summer flat shoes and slacks can work. A dress or skirt is good because it shows off your legs. Sometimes high heels are in order. You are trying to make an impression and get hired. Use your good judgement.
Bring two forms of picture ID with your birth date. Bring a bikini to put on. You can bring high heels or a dress or skirt to put on, if you like.
What Will We Do
First you will have to fill out some paper which includes a profile–contact information, vital statistics, experience, goals. You will always have to sign a model release.
The Interview. Talk a little about yourself–who you are, what you have done, what you would like to do. Keep it relevant to your talent career. Do you dance, act, play tennis or horseback ride? We’ll tell you about us, our current projects and how you might fit in. We need to evaluate you, so be prepared to display yourself. We need to see what you face and body look like from top to bottom.
Then we’ll shoot ID photos and casting photos. Often we’ll shoot some test shots to see how you pose, take direction, and generally perform in front of the camera. We want to see what your personality is like and what roles you can play. You have to show us what you look like thought the lens and what kind of potential you have.
