Alena was photographed in the late afternoon while she strolled along the beach at low tide. She was visiting Laguna Beach all the way from the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. She wore this short white dress and naturally was barefoot.
The lonely sea, the lonely sea
It never stops for you or me
It moves along from day to day
–The Lonely Sea by Brian Wilson & Gary Usher
The waves are calm during low tide, as if the ocean is resting. A few hours later when the tide comes back in, the waves return with a violent fury. Someone yells: “Surf’s Up!” and the surfers return to the waves to practice their extreme and dangerous sport.
The music video is The Lonely Sea by Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. The song was released on the album Surfin’ USA in 1963. The musicians were Brian Wilson on bass and lead vocal, Mike Love singing backup, David Marks on rhythm guitar, Brian Wilson on bass, Carl Wilson on lead guitar and vocals and Dennis Wilson on drum and vocals.
The Beach Boys: THE LONELY SEA
The lonely sea, the lonely sea
It never stops for you or me
It moves along from day to day
That’s why my love
That’s why my love
You’ll never stay
You’ll never stay
Spoken:
This pain in my heart
These tears in my eyes
Please tell the truth
You’re like the lonely sea (sea)
Sea (sea)
The lonely sea (sea)
(Lonely sea lonely sea)
(Lonely sea lonely sea)
Lonely sea
