Here is another all-natural pretty girl. Georgia has a wonderful face and great skin. She has a real wholesome beauty.
No Retouching Required
I always look for potential models that have excellent skin and don’t require any retouching. If I shoot 200 or 300 shots, I don’t want to be spending hours in Photoshop with the clone tool or Gaussian blur. I prefer more natural-looking photos.

Production Details
I shot this around 4PM in November in Laguna Beach, California. It was sunny fall day and it was late in the afternoon with the sun was low in the sky. Fall and winter are great times to shoot in California. The sun is low in the sky for almost the whole day.
The lighting was just the sun and the sky. No strobes, reflectors or anything. Late in the afternoon the shadows are soft and I put the sun behind me. Very easy time to take pictures.
That day we were running a bit late and we only had about an hour of sunshine left. We had to shoot quickly. My old camera was slow and I was always waiting for it to catch up. But my new Nikon cycles quickly allowing me to shoot rapid fire when I need to.
The camera I used was a Nikon D700 full-frame digital SLR with a Zeiss T*2/100 ZF Makro-Planar Manual Focus lens. ISO=200, WB=Daylight, Aperture-priority (matrix metering), and Manual Focus. Exposure details: focal length=100mm, ISO=200, WB=daylight, f/8 @ 1/500.
The camera was set to produce RAW+JPEG(basic). The camera RAW file was converted with RAW Developer 1.8.7. The watermark logo was added with a freeware utility called CopyrightInserter 1.8.1. for Macintosh. No other editing or retouching–as shot.
