New Category: Youtube Slideshows
In our normal format, we post a new photo on the front page three days per week. There is one new photo per article, plus a music video or film clip from youtube. Youtube is a great resource for finding old television clips, music videos, movie trailers, and scenes from films.
But our photographers submit many photographs for each model. Typically fifty or more shots of a model for each look. A lot pictures are going unseen. We hate to waste all those fine pictures. So we thought about what to do with them all.
One idea was to use the shots to make a music video. But then we would also need to video clips and it would take a whole lot of production and editing. We just don’t have the resouces and staff to do that amount of work. At least not at this time.
iPhoto Slideshow
Then someone pointed out that iPhoto can automatically create a slideshow of your photos.
So we decided to take all the extra shots and make a slideshow presentation and put them up on youtube.
