This pretty young lady named Georgia was out for a walk in this hillside park overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Beach, California. It was late in the afternoon on a sunny day in late autumn. The bees were humming, bells were ringing and birds were singing.
Music is the song Till There Was You which is sung by an up-and-coming young singer from England. The song was written by Meredith Wilson for the 1957 musical The Music Man. In the musical, the song was sung by the town librarian Marian Paroo (played by Shirley Jones in the movie) to Professor Harold Hill (played by Robert Preston).
The song was later recorded by Anita Bryant in 1959. It was also covered by Peggy Lee in the UK in 1961. During that period, it was often sung by Paul McCartney as part of The Beatles stage show in Hamburg, Germany.
