Georgia Z. came by for a photoshoot at our little beach cottage in Laguna Beach. The working title for the production was Young Country Wife. The concept was based on a 17-year-old girl I once knew a who had been married at age 16 to an older gentleman. She lived with her older husband in a big house in the country. So that was the idea for the shoot.
While shooting, I set up an HDV video camera on a tripod to capture some of the behind-the-scenes action. I fed the camera output to the Laguna Beach Bikini StudioCam. Later I turned the StudioCam into a movie so I could put it on youtube.
Countrified Soundtrack
Just to keep in the country spirit, we added a real country music soundtrack to the slideshow. The soundtrack is an old country music television show from the 1960’s with Porter Wagoner and The Wagonmasters featuring Pretty Miss Norma Jean.
Miss Norma Jean was Porter Wagner’s girl singer before Dolly Parton came along. Norma Jean was definitely easy on the eyes and hand a nice voice. She still performs and has lots of fans.
There is also corny comedy from Curly Harris and on the banjo is none other than Buck Trent, a.k.a. Banjo Buck. Banjo Buck is an amazing banjo and guitar virtuoso. You have seen him on Hee-Haw and now he plays Branston Missouri. On some songs Buck turns the tuning pegs on his banjo while playing! What an incredible musical talent!
