Hamburg to Berlin, Germany

Rode the Deutche Bahn from Hamburg, Germany to Berlin. I was in Hamburg only a short time to have a look around and see where the Beatles got started.

Berlin is a huge cosmopolitan city. It is not as much of a German city like, say, Munich. You won’t see people wearing lederhosen much in Berlin. You don’t see so many beerhalls and German restaurants like in Bavaria, but more international-style restaurants. It is more like New York City.

I arrived in the Bernin Hauptbahnhoff, which is the main station. It is a huge modern rain station. The public transportation in Berlin is excellent. There are S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains that go everywhere. it can get a little confusing, because there are so many different lines. Just study the map.
