Day Train from Berlin to Prague

Short train ride from Berlin, Germany to Prague, Czech Republic. The distance is about 280 km or 174 miles, which takes about 3 hours.

The route goes through Dresden, Germany and follows the Elbe to the Czech Border. The train crosses the German/Czech border at the city of Decin. In Czech, the Elba River is called the Labe. The train continues to follw along the river past the city Usti nad Labem, Usti under the Labe, which is quite scenic.

At some point, the river becomes the Vltava which is the river that flows through Prague.
