Hamburg, Germany is a modern and vibrant city to visit. Located on the Elbe River, it is a major port with lots of shipping traffic. You can ride on ferry boats that travel up and down the harbour.
A big attraction in Hamburg is the Reeperbahn in the St. Pauli district. This is the entertainment and red light district of Hamburg. It was here that the Beatles perfected their stage performance back in 1962, before they became a musical sensation.
