Once a week, the car ferry Liburnija travels from Rijeka to Dubrovnik, with a stop in Split. The trip takes about 36 hours. Then it makes the return trip from Dubrovnik to Rijeka. A second ferry, Marco Polo, makes the same trip on different days.
These photos were from the overnight ferry from Split to Rijeka. You can buy a ticket for the deck only for about 160 kuna. The cheapest cabin for sleeping costs about 300 kuna. More expensive cabins have a sink and shower. Our cabin had a sink and the cost was about 420 kuna.
There is a dining room on board with table service. Spaghetti with fruits of the sea was was only 45 kuna, and a Cocoa-Cola was 15 kuna for 0.33 liters. That was not at all expensive for a meal on a cruise.
