Today’s youtube features the song Independence Day by Martina McBride.This song was originally recorded for her 1993 album The Way That I Am. It was released as a single in 1994 and hit #12. The songwriter is Gretchen Peters.

This is the original recording and black and white music video. This video won many awards and generated great controversy over the depiction of domestic violence.
